I will tell you how it started, It started with Mark, dave and andy. I had just lost my spot west nile in alexandria and was in need of a new spot to build, we had looked everwhere we could but i was sold on the hill over 495, sarkis was my roomate at the time and he started a set over the creek and it didnt last long with fairfax, so he built right next to church, it started with three and then there were two, dave wasnt really into digging so for 3 years andy and I were the main earthmovers, we would have work days with oc racing guys like chris adam and rob, justus and those guys but come winter and snow it was andy and I. it is called church because that is where i spent my sundays all day in the golry of the lord!!!! riding not hearing how the world is going to hell, but a peaceful place that there are no directions but you imaganation and a sore back. I hope everybody unerstands how much time that place has taken and how it has progressed over time. I want to thank all my friends who helped and are keeping church alive and kicking, I now live at the beach in nc but have full time access to a bobcat and earthmover so I will be doing it again but there is no place in the world i would rather be than sitting along the pit of the first jump eatting potato chips and drinking swwet t with the boys and digging and riding till the sun went down. I still have the shovel I walked in with and walked out with, It is hanging in my bike shop for me. To everone who can ride there please run it a little harder dig a little longer and smile a liite more, I miss that place

Thank you
Mark Meyer
